The heart of the matter…

We live in a power-over culture maintained by systemic oppression and intergenerational abuse.

Deeply-engrained values of white supremacy, cisheteropatriarchy, and neuronormativity pervade our late-capitalist society and cause profound suffering. From a young age, we absorb these values and develop “internal oppressors” that cause us to stay small, dull our shine, shame ourselves for our struggles and differences, and perpetually-question our realities.

We may look like we “have it all together,” but constantly feel like anxious, burned-out, “broken neurotypicals.”

While masking and other trauma responses help us survive in oppressive environments, they also increase our emotional pain and disconnect us from our true selves.

Experience transformation through an integrative approach:

Loneliness does not come from having no people around, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself, or from holding certain views which others find inadmissible.
